As relational beings, we cannot help but be in groups; it's very rare to see anyone who would rather be isolated from people for a long time. Staying in groups, however, influences us in a very big way - passively or actively. This is also the source of the cliques we see in school, malls, etc. For example, when we see jejemons, we tend to think of them as jologs or crass and the like because they belong to a different group from us. The jejemons have this mentality that to be "Cool" they have to text and say things differently like "e0w pf0uWxZzZzzz.....!!!!!". It's really not appealing to the eye, I know. But us ateneans, if we think about it, we group ourselves as well, a group that thinks that typing like that is low. We do our group thinking as well, and that we cannot justify our claims that they're "jologs" and we're not based on this kind of prejudice on a different group. Straighten up people of the elite (this includes me so no bad criticisms on this sentence, I'm guilty also)! :D
